Michael Helene has been in the hair care industry for two decades. She has worked behind the chair, behind the camera in film and television, and was the regional education director for Toni and Guy Tigi on the East Coast. Her dream of owning her own hair salon came about through her passion for the industry and making people look and feel great. While working in the salon and teaching for 10 years she honed her skill as a top of the line hair and makeup artist doing fashion shows, taking classes, teaching classes and even working on such films as Pirates of the Caribbean and Cold Mountain. She enjoys teaching her clients how to care for their hair themselves and promotes the idea of the importance of personalization to her staff. Michael is a master hair stylist, a precise hair shaper and a visionary long hair dresser, as well as a personal therapist to many of her clients.
“I believe that hair is the ultimate accessory. It’s the one thing you wear every day. It can be the deciding factor between a good day and a bad day in many of our lives. My job is to help you have many more good days.”
Michael Helene Says: Ok I can not write about myself but I felt I needed to have this section for balance purposes, lol!! I love hair though and I want to grow the industry and make everyone feel as beautiful inside as they feel outside…..hopefully after a visit with myself or my artists this is just drop dead gorgeous!! xoxo
